Ne-Yo Love Life: R&B Singer Reveals That He Has Been Married Before

Ne-Yo's Secret Relationship Past

Not many people know this, but R&B singer Ne-Yo was once a married man!

Earlier this week, he told TMZ that he tied the knot 11 years ago when he was only 19 years old. But the union was short-lived -- he and this then-wife annulled their marriage after less than a year together.

"Nobody really knows that," the "Give Me Everything" singer said.

Ne-Yo said that his career ambitions are what ultimately caused the pair to split.

"I wanted to do this and she didn't want me to do this," he said. "And this is the only thing I've ever loved so I chose this over her."

Rossum recently discussed the short-lived marriage in an interview with InStyle Hair. "Everyone messes up in relationships and has peaks and valleys in their personal lives," the actress said. "When I realized it wasn't the end of the world and I would keep on standing, I knew it was going to be OK."
