Neil Gaiman let viewers and fans into his world of dark stories and creepy creativity in a video interview on CBS. The "Coraline" author spoke about his influences and what it's like to be an author with a huge cult following, and gave viewers a tour of his home, full of dolls -- "Coraline" figures, mostly -- and books -- all of the books he's ever read and written.
Gaiman quoted Ogden Nash when asked why he likes to write about monsters so much:
Where there's a monster, there's a miracle.
"It's the miraculous," he said, that draws him to his creepy tales.
