Could a water birth be in their plans?
Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte announced that he and fiancée Kayla Rae Reid are expecting their first child ― from a swimming pool.
A photo posted to Lochte’s Instagram account Wednesday shows him kissing Reid’s belly underwater.
“My Christmas gift came early this year, can’t wait for next year! Best news I’ve ever received,” the caption reads.
Reid, who modeled for Playboy, posted her own version.
In October, the two publicly announced their engagement on Instagram as well, posting a photo of them kissing on the coast with Reid sporting a huge diamond ring.
The couple were dating at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, where Lochte won his sixth career Olympic gold in a swimming relay.
He got into hot water outside of the pool after admitting he “over-exaggerated” his claims that he was robbed.
The 2016 “Dancing With The Stars” contestant is currently suspended for the scandal.
