Rep. Scott Rigell (R-Va.) beat Democrat Suzanne Patrick in Tuesday's midterm election.

Rigell, who represents Virginia's 2nd congressional district, was first elected to the U.S. Congress in 2010. Patrick is a retired commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
