Model and television host Veronica Webb recently spent time with designer (and winner of Project Runway's fourth season) Christian Siriano to discuss his latest collection. Inspired by "18th and 19th century French antique furniture," must-have items include glamorous cocktail dresses and shoes resembling "claw-foot tubs and chair legs."
Siriano's collection focuses on evening wear, as he doesn't think he can compete with designers like Donna Karan who put out jerseys and knits every season. He considers the woman who embodies his latest collection to be "kind of Parisian and 1960s, but very glamorous and all about actually getting dressed, not just wearing jeans and a t-shirt every day," and of course, fierce.
