In a campaign season marked by ads featuring deep men's voices and scary black and white footage, the commercials from Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) stand out for their creativity and humor.
On Friday, the Cruz campaign did it again, releasing a spoof of the iconic printer beating scene from the 1990s cult classic movie "Office Space." Originally set to the Geto Boys' "Still," the Cruz version of the scene borrows from another Geto Boys song featured in the movie, "Damn It Feels Good to be a Gangsta," but changes the lyrics to "Damn it feels good to be a Clinton."
Unlike most of Cruz's ads so far, this one doesn't target his fellow Republicans. Instead, it takes aim at Hillary Clinton, potentially a sign that Cruz's team is gearing up to face the former Secretary of State in a general election.
Either way, it's pretty funny.
But not everyone's laughing. A Twitter account that appears to belong to the Geto Boys pushed back against Cruz Friday morning.
The Huffington Post has reached out to the Geto Boys' management via email, and will update this post with any news on the music.
