To fans the world over, photographer Anne Geddes's artistic touch is as immediately recognizable as her regular subject matter (babies!).

In her newly-launched magazine, "my Pregnancy: A Woman's Story," Geddes continues to examine the experience of pregnancy and the significance of new life. The first issue of "my Pregnancy" includes 9 photo- and interview-based profiles of pregnant women, from a 19-year-old college student and a 40-year-old fighting breast cancer to a set of 26-year-old triplets due within two weeks of each other.

Geddes also explores parallels between human life and the natural world, pairing each pregnant woman with an "element of nature." As she explains in the magazine:

When it came to photographing pregnant women, as I've done for many years, the pregnant form seemed to perfectly echo the roundness, mystery and beauty of these nature elements [like seeds, eggs and buds], which provided endless inspiration for the images you will see here.

Click through the following slideshow to see images from "my Pregnancy"; the magazine is on sale at Destination Maternity, A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity stores across the country.
