David Letterman Wishes New 'Late Show' Host Stephen Colbert The Best Of Luck

It's all yours, Stephen.

No surprise here: the guy's a class act.

It was a brief moment during his final show, but you could tell it was important to David Letterman. He wanted to acknowledge the next guy to helm the "Late Show" -- Stephen Colbert -- and he did so, of course, with kind and caring words.

"I'm very excited. I think he's going to do a wonderful job," Letterman said emphatically. "And I wish Stephen and his staff and crew nothing but the greatest success."

It's all yours, Stephen.
