Drew Brees Accidentally Hitting The Lights On 'Conan' Pretty Much Proves Deflategate

Drew Brees visited Conan O'Brien Wednesday and basically proved it is in fact easier to ... er ... throw balls when they're underinflated. It seems pretty scientific, too.

After the Saints quarterback correctly guessed that he was holding a regularly inflated football, he tried to throw it to an audience member and accidentally smacked the studio lights instead. Following some embarrassment, Brees was given another football that was about as flat as a pancake and slinged it right to his target.

So there you have it. Case closed. Now, can we all just watch the "Key & Peele" football sketch until the Super Bowl starts, please?

"Conan" airs weeknights at 11:00 p.m. ET on TBS.
