Gabrielle Giffords Learns To Drive Again... On A Racetrack!

Gabby Giffords Learns To Drive Again!
|

According to a Facebook post Giffords published Feb. 7, she and husband Mark Kelly recently got to speed through the corners of Austin, Texas' Circuit of the Americas, home of the United States Grand Prix Formula One race. The outing marked Giffords' first stint in the driver’s seat in more than three years.

Although Giffords -- who previously served as the co-chair of the Congressional Motorcycle Caucus -- writes that driving the track “was a bit like driving my motorcycle back in Arizona,” she notes that she was no Mario Andretti.

We’re beyond happy to see Giffords making strides in her recovery, though, we must say, we're a tad jealous she got to drive on such a cool track.
