'Hunger Games' House On Sale For $1.4 Million, So You Can Live Like Katniss Everdeen (PHOTOS)

How you can live like Katniss Everdeen -- for a price.
|

We love getting a real-life glimpse of properties that have been featured in hit movies. This is especially true when the site was part of a mega-million dollar franchise like 'The Hunger Games' -- and, surprisingly, the asking price isn't as painful as we expected. The 72-acre historical Henry River Mill Village in Hickory, North Carolina (which was meant to be the site of Katniss Everdeen's home in District 12 in the country of Panem) is now on sale for $1.4 million.

Listed on Realtor.com, the expansive property comes with 21 unrestored mills, 5,000 feet of road frontage and (what we think is the best part) 3,500 feet of river frontage. The waterfront estate is a great opportunity to live like our favorite heroine. And although the grounds could use a little TLC, the beautiful setting and the hollywood allure make up for it.

If you're interested in purchasing the Henry River Mill Village, head on over to the Realtor.com website. Check out what movie critics thought about the blockbuster film in our slideshow below.
