Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) has released his fifth ad of his reelection campaign, stressing his record on ethics issues.

The ad features several Montanans praising Tester for cracking down on lobbyists and posting his schedule online. He first ran for Senate six years ago on an outsider platform, saying he planned to crack down on corruption and the influence of special interests in Washington.

The campaign has also launched a website called "The Tester Ethics Record." According to a Democratic source who tracks ad buys, the Tester campaign spent about $60,000 to air the ad on broadcast and cable statewide.

Tester's opponent, Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), has gone after Tester for accepting more than $200,000 in campaign donations from lobbyists. Tester has replied he neither grants lobbyists special access nor accepts their gifts.

"He can deny it if he wants," Rehberg told the Associated Press. "But he was number one in receiving money from lobbyists. That is a fact. For a guy that went into the last campaign saying 'not me. Not going to do it,' but then to be number one out of 535, it is hypocrisy."
