If you live in Kansas, here's what you need to know about voting in your state on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.

Generally, the closing time for Kansas polls is 7 p.m. local time; opening time is 7 a.m. local time. However, individual counties can make changes to those hours if they desire, according to Kansas law, so it's best to check with your local polling place to be sure.

Not sure where your polling place is? The website of Kansas's Secretary of State has a useful polling location finder.

The winner of Kansas in the presidential race will receive six electoral votes. The state has voted for the Republican candidate in the past 10 presidential elections.

Barack Obama's chances in the state are not good. The Lawrence Journal-World writes that the question is "How badly will the Democratic nominee lose?"
