There's nothing more fun than witnessing royals out of their element -- at a rock concert, perhaps, or cuddling koalas.
One of our personal favorites? Watching royals attempt to interact with furry mascots. Where do you direct your gaze when your companion's eyes are fake? What do you say to a creature that can't talk back? And exactly how wide do you smile for the photo opp when the creature beside you has a cartoon grin plastered on its face?
Princess Charlene and Prince Albert II of Monaco gave it their best shot today, posing with a plush shark at the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco. Not bad, but they might want to take some tips from Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. She seems to have the most mascot experience.
