Spitzer Subpoenas Music Execs For Download Pricing Scheme…

Eliot Spitzer is taking on the music industry again, this time over the pricing of digital downloads. Warner Music Group on Friday confirmed that it received subpoenas from the New York attorney general as part of a larger industrywide probe into how much they charge for digital music.

According to industry sources, who declined to be identified because of the continuing probe, Spitzer is reviewing whether the companies conspired to set wholesale prices.
