Remember the story about the loony freshman House Republican -- Bill Posey -- who last month introduced a bill that would require presidential candidates to present a birth certificate establishing their U.S. citizenship before running for office?

Well, according to the official congressional website that tracks legislation -- Thomas.gov -- Posey has yet to find a single co-sponsor for his inane bill:

In contrast, consider that another absurd piece of legislation -- Rep. Michele Bachmann's (R-MN) amendment against a non-existent plot to replace the U.S. dollar as our own currency -- has managed to attract 34 of the biggest congressional lunatics as her co-sponsors.

Yet, Posey can't find one? Not even Bachmann herself?
