Jenny Packham has dressed a lot of stylish and individual women like Angelina Jolie and Kate Middleton. Her brand of fashion is all about effortless elegance. Her clothes are like women's dreams come to life -- exquisite and beautifully crafted.

As she prepares for New York Fashion Week, which starts on September 5, Packham takes a break to talk about modesty, burlesque dancing and love.

When I wake up... I count my blessings.

Before I go to bed... I smother myself in oils in the hope of eternal youth.

A well-dressed woman... moves without restriction.

Women should always... compliment each other.

Men should never... wear flip-flops.

The best thing that's been said about me... is that I am modest.

The biggest misconception about me... is that I am modest.

If I weren't doing what I'm doing today... I would be a burlesque dancer.

My legacy... are my daughters.

A great idea... is to laugh in the face of adversity.

Botox... is the devil's work.

My mother... was fabulous.

The soundtrack of my life... is Schubert with a bit of grimey dubstep.

The future... is something to look forward to.

Happiness... is a smiling teenager.

There's a time and place... for free speech.

There is too much... fur being worn!

In the end... "It's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all."
