When friends, no matter how close, announce their engagement on Facebook, a "Like" and/or a congratulatory comment is in order.

But apparently, not everyone feels that's the best way to go. On Monday, Reddit user brisket27 posted a screenshot of a proposal photo shared on his Facebook newsfeed. In the comments, one friend of the groom-to-be started off on the right foot with a "Good for you man" that suddenly turned into him mourning his 25 years of singledom. ....Alrighty then. A simple "Happy for you, dude!" would have sufficed. But who are we to judge? Maybe he just had a lot on his mind!
