It's no secret that sleep is crucial to our concentration, health and happiness. On the flip side, not getting enough sleep can lead to serious health problems over time, such as heart attack, stroke, type 2 diabetes and obesity.
Despite all the information we have about sleep, nearly half of Americans report not getting the recommended seven to nine hours of sleep a night, according to a 2013 study.
