Helen Reddy: Madonna Made Us All Whores

Helen Reddy: Madonna Made Us All Whores
|

"I Am Woman" singer Helen Reddy has blamed Madonna for the demise of classy women's lingerie, Page Six reports. Reddy said that when she was shopping for new bras in a department store, she came across "all these little fancy things, which all have wires--which I believe cause breast cancer--but nothing that's for women who are older, or who are heavier, or who would like to dress like a lady."

Reddy asked the salesgirl for underwear that wasn't slutty and she suggested Reddy check out the sports department.

And what does this all have to do with Madonna? Simple! Reddy explained, "When I was a girl, we used to complain we were divided into two groups: We were either virgins or we were whores. And then along came Madonna--and now we're all whores."

Well, we guess Helen won't be buying anything from Jean Paul Gaultier's first lingerie collection...
