It goes without saying that the red carpet sees many different aesthetics, but the diversity has never been so clear as it was Wednesday night when Kate Hudson and Liz Hurley graced it together.
For The Breast Cancer Research Foundation's 2013 Hot Pink Party, the two ladies interpreted the theme very differently, to say the least. Kate went with one of her signature looks: a long-sleeve gown (by Anne Taylor) paired with vintage-inspired jewelry. Liz, on the other hand, went a bit more literal with a plunging, glitzy pink number and va-va-voom hair.
We have to say that we prefer Kate's subtly sexy look to the British actress' Blumarine head-turner. But don't think we don't appreciate Liz's flair for the dramatic -- her infamous safety pin Versace get-up is still one of our all-time favorite fashion moments.
It's hard to ignore the stark contrast between the two stars' party ensembles, though. So we we have to ask: Which look do you prefer?
