Red carpet gowns are fun to ogle, but what we love even more is checking out what our favorite celebs and royals wear off-duty, without the help of a stylist or an arsenal of borrowed dresses.
Kate Middleton, for one, has been choosing jeans these days -- a girl after our own heart. After appearing at an elementary school a few days back in jeans and a tan cowl neck sweater (causing one of the students to remark, "She doesn't look like a Princess. Where's her dress?"), the Duchess popped into Tesco in a strikingly similar outfit to pick up groceries yesterday.
Of course it's not the first time we've seen Catherine shopping for her own foodstuffs. Shortly after her much-watched wedding, she went virtually undetected at a local grocery store and later in the summer made a Tesco run in a chic sweater and flats.
This time around, Kate wore jeans again for a food run in North Wales, where she reportedly picked up veggies, milk, chicken and Haagan-Dazs ice cream. For those wondering, we didn't see any typical pregnancy-craving items in her cart... nor did we see her famous sapphire engagement ring. Having it cleaned, Kate?
