Actor Michael J Fox appeared on ABC's This Week Sunday with George Stephanopoulos to explain his Parkinson's Disease, his stance on stem cell research, and the controversy surrounding campaign ads in which he s recently appeared. After the release of one ad in which Fox appears extremely shaky, conservative talk show Rush Limbaugh accused Fox of exaggerating his symptoms to gain sympathy, and presumably, votes for candidates who support stem cell research. In this interview with Stephanopoulos, it is clear that Fox was not exaggerating his symptoms. As he explains, Parkinson's "is like surfing," with some times being easier than others.
