Valerie Trierweiler's Bastille Day Look Is Very First Lady-Like (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Valerie Trierweiler Takes A Stab At First Lady Dressing

Valerie Trierweiler hasn't taken to first-lady dressing as much as Carla Bruni did, but it looks like she got into the spirit of things for Bastille Day yesterday. Translation: Bonjour, Jackie O pink.

French President François Hollande's partner took part in a parade and lunch in celebration of France's national day, opting to wear a hot pink dress and matching coat. What's more, Valerie even coordinated her lipstick with the ensemble, making for a very approachable, yet fun, look. Perhaps she's taking notes from our very own FLOTUS?

Whatever the inspiration, we think Val looked great -- no one can call her "The Rottweiler" in that get-up. Check out the photos below and tell us what you think!
