Welch's New PB&J Snacks Are Some Willy Wonka-Style Trickery

Are you eating a whole sandwich or just a tiny jelly bean?
|

It was just a normal day when Welch's PB&J Snacks arrived at our desks. We hadn't asked for them, didn't even know they were coming. But then, there they were, and we knew like moths to a flame, we were going to have to try them. We expected these new treats, which come in both "creamy" and "crunchy" varieties, would taste like a sad, chalky peanut butter jelly bean, wrapped around a rubbery fruit snack.

We actually couldn't have been more wrong. Please excuse my language, but I have to be honest with you: these PB&J Snacks are some Willy Wonka s**t. Their crunchy outside gives way to a little jelly bomb in the middle, and suddenly you're eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the playground. For kids, these will just be a tasty treat. For adults, they're like little nostalgia pellets.

After we put our brains back together, we all collectively wondered, why hasn't anyone thought of this great idea before?

Welch's PB&J Snacks should pop up on your shelves very soon, with a suggested retail price of $2.79 for an 8-pack. Let us know if they melt your brains the same way they did ours, or if we just need to eat more PB&Js and calm down.
