Today marks the close of Heart Health Awareness Month, but that doesn't mean we should forget heart disease's toll for the rest of the year.
And that toll's not small. Each year, 17.3 million people die from cardiovascular disease -- many from heart attacks and strokes -- around the world, according to the World Health Organization.
