Ally Hilfiger's Shoes: Are These Fur Real? (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: What's Growing On Ally Hilfiger's Feet?

Transitional footwear always presents a challenge in late April. What should we wear on our feet when our toes are feeling cooped up from the long winter, yet there's still a chill in the air? Rest easy, fashionistas: Ally Hilfiger has found a solution.

The designer, daughter of fellow designer Tommy Hilfiger, attended last night's premiere of "Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf's" wearing a sleeveless orange dress perfectly suited to New York City's climbing spring temps. Her shoe choice, however, was a bit less expected. Ally hit the red carpet in white stiletto heels with long fur trim.

Thank goodness the premiere was safe from April showers -- we'd shudder at the idea of these puppies dragging on damp city streets. Ally's Yeti-inspired sandals are practical for offering her tootsies a bit of protective warmth while still showing off a flash of her pedicure... though we find the meeting of Bigfoot and lady foot a bit too fearsome for the red carpet.

What do you think of Ally's outlandish footwear? Take a look below and let us know in the comments!
