Michelle Obama's Rachel Roy Dress Teaches Us A Valuable Shopping Lesson (PHOTOS)

Michelle Obama's Shopping Tip Can Save You A Lot Of Frustration
|

In case you missed the memo: Michelle Obama loves her Rachel Roy dresses. Not only are they affordable, but they still look fresh and stylish years after purchasing.

FLOTUS proved this once again last night, turning up to a military ceremony at the White House in a Rachel Roy dress she first wore back in 2009. The frock's draped neckline, fun print and mixed fabrics made Mrs. O look just as chic as she did when she whipped it out for the National Conference on Volunteering and Service four years ago.

Lucky for Obama, she managed to snag a couple of similar Rachel Roy dresses, which feature the same basic design concept but in different colors. Moral of the story? If you find a relatively cheap, wearable dress that you love, you should go ahead and purchase different versions. Now that's a first lady-approved shopping tip all of us can learn from.
