Twitter exploded in anger following Donald Trump’s election win as tens of thousands of U.S. users boldly declared he would never truly represent them.

Within minutes of the president-elect finishing his victory speech, the #HesNotMyPresident hashtag began trending across the country.

Some tweeters emotionally condemned Trump for the often racist, sexist and deceitful nature of his presidential campaign, while others suggested his presence inside the White House would make the nation a “much scarier place.”
