What if dogs could talk? Seriously, what if they could talk. It would be so funny. So funny, simply the concept causes Zach Galifianakis and Scott Aukerman to erupt in a giggle fit on a preview of the upcoming IFC show "Comedy Bang! Bang!"

The podcast "Bang! Bang!" has been a must-listen for comedy fan since 2009, when it was known as "Comedy Death-Ray Radio." Week in and week out, the show combines interviews with characters and sketches, making the transition to television a natural fit. The first episode centers around Aukerman, Reggie Watts (who acts as the "one-man bandleader") and the formal guest, Galifianakis.

Aukerman also directed several "Between Two Ferns" video, and the sensibilities of Galifianakis' bizarre chat program comes through loud and clear in the show. You'll be able to watch the first episode on IFC on June 8.

UPDATE: A previous version of this post stated that Aukerman directed every "Between Two Ferns." In fact, directors Ruben Fleischer, B.J. Porter and Daniel Strange also directed episodes.
