Carla Bruni Pregnant With Baby Boy, Says Sarkozy Friend Jacques Seguela

Sarkozy's Friend 'Reveals' Baby's Sex
|

It turns out that both we and Carla Bruni have the same attitude about her possible pregnancy: sit back and let the rumors fly.

First things first, the French first lady hasn't even confirmed she's with child, letting her mother and father-in-law do her talking...although she has been spotted in some loose-fitting getups. Then, Voici claimed that all of that extra fabric was meant to conceal that she's with children -- that's right, twins -- due in October.

So what's the latest? It's a boy! Or so says advertising executive and Nicolas Sarkozy's BFF Jacques Séguéla. (But if we were running a HuffPost Style section pool, which we're not...yet, we'd bet on boy, too, since Carla has a son and Sarkozy has three, all from previously relationships.) Séguéla told Belgium's Le Soir that it would be un garçon for the couple and that Carla and Sarko been trying to have a baby for the past few years, with no success.

Séguéla, if you remember, is credited with introducing the pair in 2007. And, adds the Telegraph:

This is not the first time Mr Séguéla has filled the public in on the presidential couple's private lives. In 2009, he gave a blow-by-blow account of how they met at an impromptu "blind date" soirée, describing the scene as an "unexpected game of seduction between two wild beasts".
