Stephen Colbert devoted his entire Monday show to [sarcastically] arguing against gun control, starting out the episode wearing grassy camouflage to hide from the "jackbooted thugs" who were sure to break in at any minute and take away his 2nd amendment rights.

Highlighting the various voices that have leapt to the defense of firearms, the opening segment culminated with perhaps the most absurd assertion of all: that guns themselves are civil rights victims.
