Crystal Renn Models Agent Provocateur At A Gas Station (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: We'll Never Understand 'Gas Station Chic'

Can someone explain the whole "gas station chic" thing to us?

“The gas station is a fetish, a place to have fun and stretch your legs after hours of driving, a place where you can accidently meet a handsome stranger,” says Olivier Zahm.

OK, then. Behold the latest gas station fashion shoot: Crystal Renn modeling Agent Provocateur's Spring 2013 collection, wearing an array of teddies and complicated bras against the backdrop of a retro-looking gas station.

Renn's shoot follows in the diesel-fueled footsteps of Prada's Spring 2012 campaign and Kate Hudson's Harper's Bazaar shoot in January 2010. There's clearly something about gas stations that the fashion world loves...

... but after seeing the recent Agent Provocateur photos, we're still not convinced.
