Kim Kardashian & Angelina Jolie Prove That Leather Skirts Work On All Shapes This Fall, From Petite To Curvy (PHOTOS)

If Kim Kardashian Can Wear A Leather Skirt, So Can We
|

Leather skirts are a big trend for fall. Designers showed all manner of skirts in the supple skin, from pleated to pencil shapes. We've also seen stars like Kim Kardashian and Angelina Jolie strutting their stuff in ladylike takes on the look, proving that leather is no longer reserved for the Harley-Davidson crew.

Though there are a few things to note about wearing a leather skirt this season. Firstly, it doesn't have have to be black. We've seen it in beautiful bordeaux shades, as well as camel and even dove grey. Secondly, faux leather is just as convincing as the real thing -- and at a fraction of the price. Lastly, a leather skirt is as versatile as the black pencil skirt you wore to death last fall; think of it as a neutral piece that you can mix with just about any topper.

But most importantly is that designers have made sure that there's an option for every body type. Check out our gallery below of celebrities in leather skirts, plus tips on which skirt is right for your shape, what to wear with leather and a few shoppable options to get you started.
