We've long focused our style-minded eyes on Samantha Cameron, the wife of British prime minister David Cameron. But little did we realize that there's another sartorial powerhouse lurking on the UK politics scene: Miriam Gonzalez Durantez, the wife of Liberal Democratic party leader and deputy prime minister Nick Clegg.

Mrs. Gonzalez Durantez, a lawyer who was born in Spain, and her husband stepped out on Wednesday night to attend the Liberal Party conference. (The couple married in 2000 and have three sons.) The "first lady" stunned everyone in her sharp white frock, which the Daily Mail reports is Henrietta Ludgate's £390 New York dress. She paired it, expertly, with a pair of bright red pumps.

Little did we know that she's been a style maven for some time, turning out to events in bright blue dresses, cool fascinators and of course, a devastating array of awesome shoes. (She also looked dynamite at the royal wedding, hangs out with Jimmy Choo, who has created custom shoes for her, and has been written up in Vogue UK for years, if you needed any further proof.)

Look out, SamCam: you've got some chic competition over there.

Check out Mrs. Gonzalez Durantez' regal white outfit below and see some more of her savvy style.
