Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has cast a critical eye over some upcoming sci-fi movies, and he’s not all that impressed with what he sees.

For Friday’s broadcast of the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the scientist lightheartedly dissected some of the more questionable science behind the plot lines of “Alien: Covenant” and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”

“I used to lose sleep over this,” he said of movies that get scientific references wrong. And though it’s not a sci-fi film, he also had some views on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s performance in the new “Baywatch” movie, due for release this month.
