South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley brought her national book tour back to the Palmetto State Monday.

About a dozen protesters lined up outside Blue Bicycle Books on King Street ahead of Haley's 6 p.m. book signing event. Meanwhile, about 40 people bought copies of her memoir, "Can't Is Not an Option," and lined up to have her sign it.

"I think someone needs to tell her she needs to be accountable," protester Chris Covert said. "She hasn't done anything in the Governor's Office in weeks while she's been on her book tour."
