Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness a truly freaky addition to the YouTube library.

Yes, it's a dog wedding.

People have been dressing up their pets for decades for whatever reason, but this Pekingese wedding "ceremony" from 1956 tells us more than we've ever wanted to know. To put it plainly, bride and groom dogs are dressed in wedding outfits while two puppy bridesmaids with bouquets are paraded around by somebody's mom.

The narrater is also amazing. For instance, he insists that although the puppy bridesmaids are very young, they "appreciate their role" in the wedding. Sorry guy, but we're pretty sure these dogs have no idea what's going on regardless of their age.

They're dogs.

We'd say it's more WTF than anything.
