Pink Ombre Hair Color Looks Good On... Everyone (PHOTOS)

Why We Love Pink Ombre Hair
|

I am seeing pink everywhere these days, and before you make a joke about seeing the world through rose-colored glasses take a look at the red carpet where stars like Heidi Klum, Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood and more have all been spotted withpink ombre hair color.

Why is it so popular? Pink highlights, streaks or dip-dye is a fairly simple (and not necessarily permanent) way to experiment with bright, crazy hair color. Take Coco Rocha's look from the 2012 Met Gala, for example. The gorgeous model matched her normally brunette locks to her vintage Givenchy outfit by adding hot pink extensions to her hair. Singer Jessie J., on the other hand, dip-dyed her black hair with pink dye for am ombre effect. Both women were totally transformed by the pop of color!

And celebrities aren't the only ones trying a dip-dyed or highlighted look. During New York Fashion Week, we spotted plenty of girls (and boys) on the street and even our own Ellie Krupnick has tried it!

Take a look at the photos below to see Avril Lavigne, Alison Mosshart, Lauren Conrad and more with pink ombre hair. Are you inspired to try it yet?
