Rihanna, Kim Kardashian And More Wear Thigh-High Boots, But We Aren't So Sure Of This Trend (PHOTOS)

Julia Roberts would be proud.

Call us crazy, but we will always associate thigh-high boots with Julia Roberts' character in "Pretty Woman." Who could ever forget her as Vivian, strutting down Rodeo Drive in that barely-there minidress and over-the-knee patent leather boots? While her performance was iconic and we'll happily curl up with that film any night, thigh-high boots aren't high on our "must buy" list.

More often than not, we find that the fit is off (too tight and you've got sausage legs, too loose and you're ready to fish in waders) and wish we'd stuck with a below-the-knee style. But celebrities are out to change our minds: Rachel Zoe hit the town in black thigh-high boots with baby Skyler on her hip, Miranda Kerr paired them with a minidress on a chilly fall day here in New York City and Gwen Stefani just performed at the MTV European Music Awards in the sexy-as-hell footwear. If anyone can pull them off (heh), it's the super stylist, supermodel and superstar.

We've gathered 29 pictures of stars in thigh-high boots. What do you think? Would you wear these shoes?
