'The Simpsons' Money Dispute With Fox Execs Could End Show

Fox Execs Threaten To End 'The Simpsons' Over Money Dispute With Cast
|

Another year, another money dispute at "The Simpsons." Although this time around, it could be even more serious.

The Daily Beast is reporting that Fox studio execs have given the long-running show's six principle actors an ultimatum: take a 45% pay cut or the show ends.

"The Simpsons" has never shied away from taking shots at its home network, but Fox may have stumbled into real life evil overlord territory on this one. Given that the cast has offered to take a 30% pay cut and is being told that's simply not good enough, we can only imagine the backlash that's about to ensue.

It could make the following clip look relatively tame.
