We've all had the sweet, cheeky idea to bake a cake for someone we love in the shape of the age they are turning. Then you rush out to the cooking supply shop, spend probably more than you wanted to on a one-time-use cake pan and never use it again. The Alphabet Cake Pan is here to solve this problem.
This cake pan is one big alphanumeric grid, with two-inch squares that you can rearrange inside to create numbers or letters out of cake in the negative space. We love this idea because it cuts down on the inevitable waste that baking a huge sheet cake and carving it down creates, and also because you can reuse the pan for multiple birthdays or other occasions.
And you're not limited to cake. Imagine a giant Jell-O mold, terrine or quiche in your friend's initials! Your imagination is seriously the only limit. You can pick up the Alphabet Cake Pan on Amazon for about $23.
