Here's Proof Americans Don't Know 'The Star-Spangled Banner'

Proof That Nobody Knows The National Anthem
|

This past weekend marked the 200th anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner," so Jimmy Kimmel had his cameras hit the streets to see how many people actually knew the words. And, as it happens, the answer is not very many.

In defense of Americans, Kimmel also states the we don't know what the word rampart means, which is totally false. That's like, part of a ram, right?

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
