Drugstore Beauty: What Are Your Favorite Products?

Drugstore Beauty: What Are Your Favorite Products?
|

While we regularly dash into the drugstore for a whole slew of staples -- Tide, toilet paper, Advil Liqui-Gels -- the whole in-and-out-in-under-ten-minutes mindset usually gets sidelined when the siren song of the beauty aisle wins us over. Admittedly, we can spend upwards of an hour just poking around, throwing whatever's new into our baskets. Not only are prices usually about a two-thirds less than the fancy stuff, we feel our drugstore scores are on level with department store brands--quality-wise. Plus, cheaper prices means there's more to test out. Here's what's in our current rotation.

We want to hear about your favorite drugstore beauty products. Tell us in the comments, then upload a photo to the slideshow.

eyeslipsface.com "I absolutely love cream eyeliners (I favor the winged 60's eyeliner look) and have tried many. ELF is the only one that doesn't immediately dry out. The included brush, though it has a short handle, is great at getting right into the lash. Even better: It's $3." -- Brie Dyas, Stylelist Home editor
Boots Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum, $24 (03 of23)
Open Image Modal
drugstore.com "This serum is a little bit thicker than most, but feels light on the skin. It's better than a primer, locking in your moisturizer and giving you a nice finish for your makeup. It really does nicely smooth everything while helping to calm redness. Plus, it reduces the appearance of fine lines and pore." -- Brie Dyas, Stylelist Home editor
Sonia Kashuk Perfecting Luminous Foundation, $11(04 of23)

soniakashuk.com "Most luminous foundations either go too sparkly, or don't offer enough coverage. But this offers a light tint and really does make skin look dewy, healthy and above all, not shiny." -- Brie Dyas, Stylelist Home editor

Jason Vitamin E Oil, $12(06 of23)

jason-natural.com "All my beauty products are basically drugstore, but my secret weapon in winter is Vitamin E oil. It's a little messy, but I slather it on my arms and legs before bed, then put on some pajamas, so it doesn't get on my sheets. The results are instantaneous, and even better than that time I splurged on Creme de la Mer." -- Anya Strzemien, HuffPost Style and Stylelist editor-in-chief
Ambi Fade Cream for Skin Normal Skin, $4(07 of23)

Batiste Dry Shampoo, $8(10 of23)

ulta.com "Love, love, love this product while traveling and at home, during a busy work week or last-minute evening out. The can is small and light so it doesn't take up too much space in your travel tote or brief case. There are a variety of flavors, so you can not only reduce the oiliness of your hair, the deodorizing light fragrance is a nice compliment. I do not go anywhere without this product." -- Crystal Carson of Assignment Fashion
Spectro Derm Cleanser, $16(11 of23)
