Frozen Limeade

In his series Marcus' Kitchen, chef Marcus Samuelsson shares dozens of recipes that prove "American" cuisine is really a delicious melting pot that draws upon flavors from all over the world.

In this video, Marcus blends up a drink that was inspired by his trip to the Caribbean, where he sipped lots of ginger beer. Since mint and ginger work nicely together, and mint and lime are a natural cocktail or mocktail combination, Marcus mixes these ingredients (ginger ale can be used in lieu of ginger beer -- both are alcohol-free) with sparkling water, confectioners' sugar and ice -- turning out a delicious frozen limeade with an exotic twist.
