Guests Rappel Down Grand Hyatt San Francisco Hotel For Charity (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Rappelling Down A San Fran Hotel

The Grand Hyatt San Francisco is inviting guests to rappel more than 400 feet down the face of the Union Square hotel in a fundraising effort to support Special Olympics Northern California.

Thrill seekers who want to make the leap must raise a minimum of $1,250 through the event website, www.OverTheEdgeSF.com.

Now in its third iteration, the Over the Edge event will happen over two days this summer, July 20 and 21. While the hotel says "there is no experience needed," guests may want to pack a little extra courage. Rates for the weekend start at $199 a night.
