We've heard plenty of stories about women going into labor at inopportune times. Former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager experienced that firsthand when her water broke during her baby shower.
Hager joined the "Today" show via phone this morning -- just 9 days after baby Margaret Laura Hager (nicknamed Mila) was born -- to tell the story. On April 13, she was opening gifts at her shower when she started to sweat. "Then, all of a sudden, in front of all of my friends, my water broke... It was like a romantic comedy,” she told the anchors. Her due date wasn't supposed to be for another three weeks.
Hager, who has been a correspondent for the "Today" show since 2009, told the hosts she's "totally crazy" about baby Mila. “I’ve learned that you can love somebody in a totally different way,” she said.
