In a segment in last night's "Daily Show," John Oliver traveled to South Africa to immerse himself in World Cup fever. As it's the continent's first World Cup, Oliver expected the event to be filled with elements of African culture, celebrating all they had to offer. But of course, all he found were big corporations and novelty tchochkes (that said, the "hand-carved FIFA ballpoint pens" looked pretty great).

In addition to hilariously pointing out the irony, Oliver sat down with the the spokesman of the World Cup Organizing Committee and promptly blew a vuvuzela in his face.
