Tensions were high as the cardinals entered the Sistine Chapel to determine who would be the next pope. But, thanks to one little birdie the day saw some much-needed levity. The little bird, a seagull to be exact, hung out on the chimney throughout the conclave and provided an entertaining distraction from just staring at a pipe and waiting.
