We were a bit confused by this New York Post headline: "Trannies as 6G thieving bagmen."

But it turns out the title is pretty darn accurate: "tacky trannies," according to the newspaper, shoplifted $6,000 worth of Chanel bags from Lower East Side boutique A. Turen.

Store owner Ashley Turen described the male bandits' over-the-top get-ups as "almost like a Halloween costume,” ('tis the season, after all).

At least they didn't leave behind two children as they made their get-away.
